This painting was created entirely with second hand materials. The wood panel was a sample board for a personal project in my home. The tree’s branches and the bird are paint skins (dried up paint) that I just couldn’t toss because the colors and designs were too awesome. The BONUS on this piece is the tree’s trunk, it is glass that came from a bottle collected and up-cycled from the bottom of University Lake.
