Not only can you see rushing water, but you can hear it and feel it, it touches 3 of the 5 senses. "Rush" was inspired by a small back trail waterfall at Waimea Canyon in Kauai. I loved the contrast that existed between the areas that were typical Hawaii lushness and the raw, harshness of the canyon. This inspired me to create this piece in black and white to convey how harshness can also be beautiful, and can play a part in a calming environment.
